Here at Android Apps Review, we really like arcade games. In fact, we might like them more than we like just about anything else on the Android platform. This is why we’re quite pleased to be bringing you a review of Flatout Stuntman, from Team6 game studios B.V., today.
The app is a quirky, often delightful, and ever colorful entry into the genre of “smash-it-for-points.” Its hilarious gameplay is good enough to keep us coming back, and the graphics are some of the best we’ve seen on the platform. Concept and Gameplay
Flatout for Android
The idea behind Flatout Stuntman looks something like this: First, you’ll need to pick a vehicle and level. Then, you’ll need to pick a character. Once that magic combination has been achieved it’s on to bigger and better things.
What does that include? Mostly, it involves crashing your chosen setup into the best possible objects to get points. You’ll be smacking cars into rocks, sending your chosen character hurtling across the level. They’ll jump through hoops, ricochet off nearby perils, and ultimately smack into some form of point-yielding end zone.
If you setup the entire process correctly, you’ll get more impressive results. In other words, you’ll get to frequently crash objects and people to unlock the game’s content. If that doesn’t sound appealing to you, then you likely don’t know what fun is.
Design and Graphics
We mentioned this earlier, but Flatout Stuntman looks seriously good. Depending on what device you play it, you’ll get to enjoy the full blast of those incredible Nvidia-powered graphics.
It’s an impressive setup, and the physics at work here seem to be solid as well. The wealth of characters, fields, vehicles and layouts is also a tremendous boon for Flatout Stuntman. We think it would be quite hard to become bored with what the title has to offer. If you’re into games like Real Racing, you’ll certainly find a lot of content here to adore.
Overall Value
Best of all, Flatout Stuntman is a free application with in-app purchases to flesh-out the content. This means you are fully free to try out all that it has to offer, and if you’re not satisfied, you need not spend a single penny on Flatout Stuntman.
We’ve heard reports of the app being finicky on some devices, even modern ones. Keep this in mind, but with that price tag, it’s hard to complain too much.
To sum it all up, if you’re looking for an engaging and quirky app to play with, Flatout Stuntman is easily your ticket to ride.
