Oh sure, you can still see access points that are secure, and the app even lets you request access. But the true grace factor comes in on the back end of the app. Smart WiFi Pro lets you save AP filters so you won’t see useless networks, and automatically tests each connection’s viability. So you won’t waste time testing the networks you connect to. If it doesn’t work, the app will find out for you. Pretty sweet, eh?

The real star of this connectivity app is its awesome user interface. I’ve never seen a Wi-Fi management app with this kind of flair. Networks appear as color-coded blips on a radar-style screen. You can turn on and off AP names with a single button. All the app’s options are right there, organized around the radar, and within easy reach.
It was a real pleasure using this app, and that’s not the kind of thing I usually say about a utility app. Not sure if this is the app for you? There’s a bit of added value here that might help you make up your mind.

Smart WiFi Pro for Android costs $2.50. So no, this bad boy isn’t free. But there is a free lite version of the app that can give you a general idea of the full title’s features. If you’re not sure about making the plunge, try out the free version, no strings attached. But, beware, if you use Wi-Fi networks on-the-go, you need this app in all its pro-style glory.
Not only does using Wi-Fi save on your data usage, this sweet app even helps you save battery life and make the most of your services by keeping you connected on the move. And, really, it’s hard to ask for much more in a connectivity app like this. So get it. You’ll be glad you did.
